Comment:When I was reading information on cyberbullying. gov I learned that cyberbullying is bullying that takes place using technology. I also learned that cyberbullying can happen 24 hour a day 7 days a week and reach a kid even when he or she is alone.It can happen any time of day or night. I also learned that cyberbullying is bullying on any electronic technology, not just when texting or in chat rooms. Cyberbullying doesn’t even have to have words on the screen, it can be pictures. Also cyberbullying is different because it can be across the world. It could be two people or more who never met each other. Often however the cyberbully does know the victim. On the internet it is easy to remain anonymous so often the victim might not know who is bullying them. Cyberbullying can also happen any time of day, any day of the week. Cyber-Bullying is a big problem children, teens and pre-teens have. It is when a child is bullied, harassed or made fun of on the internet. Once something is posted, it cannot be removed and it stays there forever and spreads across the internet allowing anyone to view the post. Cyber-bullying is one of the reasons why people commit suicide. A person is bullied on the internet until finally the bully goes too far and the victim commits suicide, the bully may or may not go to juvenile. But it usually does not go that far.
Comment: Cyber bullying needs to stop. I watched the movie cyberbully and in it a girl tries commiting suicide because of cyberbullying. People are losing lives because of this. It is an issue! It NEEDSW to stop.

Comment: I once watched a movie called Cyber Bully and there was a girl who was getting bullied by this popular girl and the the target got so mad and depressed that she tried to kill herself but this was just a movie but believe it or not this stuff happens in real life.But the worst thing I think is that her friends were not doing anything and they started to ditch here and they did not want to be seen with here and in this case her friends were the bystanders. Also they made up lies and made a video where this girl pretended to be the target but the target told her mom and the mom went over to the bullies house and talked to the dad but the dad said “my little girl would never do that”, and the bully told the targets mom that she was her friend and what happened to the target once she kept getting bullied she started to skip school and then she tried to kill herself.This is what can happen if you cyber bully.

Then 2 players called me names.Then they kept on killing me over and over again.After that they wanted me to play in Factions with them.So we teamed and then once i got some Diamond Armor they killed me then they said that I am a bad word they took all my stuff as well and they called me a bunch of other bad words that made me feel sad and angry.Then a lot more players were joining in the bullying.So I left the server.

Also, 43% of kids get cyber-bullied online and sometimes, it happens more than once. Over 50% of teens think that this is a big problem. Comment:Cyberbullying is when a person makes fun or posts embarrassing videos or pictures on the internet, but mostly on social networks. They may cyberbully to target you, don’t like your race or sex, or just because you do different things. Schools are trying to stop cyberbullying by denying access to social networks and violent games. Some people commit suicide or does not socialize much or not at all. For example: someone could talk about you and make you look bad and post photoshopped or private pictures onto the internet. In overall, if you see cyberbullying, speak up. You may not be able to talk to the bully in person, but that doesn’t matter. Report that person if you can, defend the person being bullied. Don’t influence the bully, stand against him.

The reason this is such a big problem is because kids who are cyber-bullied are more likely to use alcohol and drugs, skip school, experience in-person bullying, be unwilling to attend school, receive poor grades, have lower self-esteem, and have more health problems. I need you to convince the bullies to stop. Tell them they are hurting, not only the person that they are bullying, but the person’s family, too. This is important to all of us because many children are getting affected by this and if this is why kids are getting poor grades and it doesn’t stop soon, the jobs that need smart workers will no longer be able to run because there will not be many smart kids/adults.

I disagree with you Mary S, I don’t think cyberbullying can be with pictures. How could you offend someone with a picture. It’s not like that person can get a picture of you because you only know them online, not in real life. All the stories I have heard about cyberbullying was that someone online was bullying someone else with words, not pictures. For example, on http://www.ryanpatrickhalligan.org it told a boy named Ryan Patrick Halligan who was bullyied online by a bully who was actually bullying him at school to. He spreaded a rumor that Ryan was gay. The bully was Ryan’s friend for a while actually. This is just sad, but it included no pictures. So I think you can’t bully people with pictures.

Comment: Cyberbullying is a big issue. I learned that fake profiles is cyberbullying. I also learned that cyberbullying is bullying on any electronic technology, not just when texting or in chat rooms. Cyberbullying doesn’t even have to have words on the screen, it can be pictures. Also cyberbullying is different because it can be across the world. It could be two people or more who never met each other. Often however the cyberbully does know the victim. On the internet it is easy to remain anonymous so often the victim might not know who is bullying them. Cyberbullying can also happen any time of day, any day of the week. It can happen when the victim is alone, or among many people. This is why cyberbullying is such a big issue.

It can be fake profiles because pretending to be someone and imitating someone can be annoying. Cyber-bullying can happen to anyone in the world and the bully usually targets someone who they know. Cyber-Bullying is a big problem children, teens and pre-teens have. It is when a child is bullied, harassed or made fun of on the internet. Once something is posted, it cannot be removed and it stays there forever and spreads across the internet allowing anyone to view the post. Cyber-bullying is one of the reasons why people commit suicide. A person is bullied on the internet until finally the bully goes too far and the victim commits suicide, the bully may or may not go to juvenile. But it usually does not go that far.

Comment: I once watched a movie called Cyber Bully and there was a girl who was getting bullied by this popular girl and the the target got so mad and depressed that she tried to kill herself but this was just a movie but believe it or not this stuff happens in real life.But the worst thing I think is that her friends were not doing anything and they started to ditch here and they did not want to be seen with here and in this case her friends were the bystanders. Also they made up lies and made a video where this girl pretended to be the target but the target told her mom and the mom went over to the bullies house and talked to the dad but the dad said “my little girl would never do that”, and the bully told the targets mom that she was her friend and what happened to the target once she kept getting bullied she started to skip school and then she tried to kill herself.This is what can happen if you cyber bully.

Comment:In a game called Minecraft I was playing on a server there were 1750 players on. Then 2 players called me names.Then they kept on killing me over and over again.After that they wanted me to play in Factions with them.So we teamed and then once i got some Diamond Armor they killed me then they said that I am a bad word they took all my stuff as well and they called me a bunch of other bad words that made me feel sad and angry.Then a lot more players were joining in the bullying.So I left the server.

Comment: Cyberbullying is a serious issue.When someone is cyber bullied by someone else,a person is spreading rumors or saying mean comments about someone online.This can sometimes be so bad that it can lead to the victim committing suicide because it continues at school. Comment:Cyberbullying is when a person makes fun or posts embarrassing videos or pictures on the internet, but mostly on social networks. They may cyberbully to target you, don’t like your race or sex, or just because you do different things. Schools are trying to stop cyberbullying by denying access to social networks and violent games. Some people commit suicide or does not socialize much or not at all. For example: someone could talk about you and make you look bad and post photoshopped or private pictures onto the internet. In overall, if you see cyberbullying, speak up. You may not be able to talk to the bully in person, but that doesn’t matter. Report that person if you can, defend the person being bullied. Don’t influence the bully, stand against him.

The reason this is such a big problem is because kids who are cyber-bullied are more likely to use alcohol and drugs, skip school, experience in-person bullying, be unwilling to attend school, receive poor grades, have lower self-esteem, and have more health problems. I need you to convince the bullies to stop. Tell them they are hurting, not only the person that they are bullying, but the person’s family, too. I’m commenting on a post Mary S. from Smyser School made.
I disagree with you Mary S, I don’t think cyberbullying can be with pictures. How could you offend someone with a picture. It’s not like that person can get a picture of you because you only know them online, not in real life. All the stories I have heard about cyberbullying was that someone online was bullying someone else with words, not pictures. For example, on http://www.ryanpatrickhalligan.org it told a boy named Ryan Patrick Halligan who was bullyied online by a bully who was actually bullying him at school to. He spreaded a rumor that Ryan was gay. The bully was Ryan’s friend for a while actually. This is just sad, but it included no pictures. So I think you can’t bully people with pictures.

Comment:I read a comment by Maggie S. from smyer school and I agree that cyber bullying starts as a person being involved in technology and then that person starts to develop feeling a need to bully people through the internet.kids who cyberbully also can try to hide all of the evidence by deleting messages or pictures,texts or things that can find them guilty of this offence.

Comment:I agree with Maggie S. form smyser because kids do get bully every day and even adults.We can stop bullying but some people just let bullying happen.Bully can affect a lot of people.We can stop bully but not let it happen and taking off the internet so they can stop the bullying.

Comment: I agree with Beatriz M. because when kids get bullied they can get discouraged about themselves by thinking that what the bullier said about them is true and they should be ashamed of it. Also kids who get bullied do start to become a bully to other people because of what they might have been through , when they got bullied. I also agree that bullying is becoming frequently because of social networks.

Comment:i agree with Mary S. from Smyser School, because cyber-bullying is fake profiles and sending inappropriate messages or photos. It can be fake profiles because pretending to be someone and imitating someone can be annoying. Cyber-bullying can happen to anyone in the world and the bully usually targets someone who they know. The cyber-bully usually remains anonymous so the victim does not know who is bullying them.

Comment: I agree with Maggie S. from Smyser School about no one having to be cyber- bullied because it is something very sad someone getting bullied because of their looks and attitude etc. When kids get cyber-bullied sometimes they want to commit suicide because they can't take all the drama that is happening to them. From the movie “Cyber Bully” it talks all about cyber-bullying about a true story.

Cyber-Bullying is a big problem children, teens and pre-teens have. It is when a child is bullied, harassed or made fun of on the internet. Once something is posted, it cannot be removed and it stays there forever and spreads across the internet allowing anyone to view the post. Cyber-bullying is one of the reasons why people commit suicide. A person is bullied on the internet until finally the bully goes too far and the victim commits suicide, the bully may or may not go to juvenile. But it usually does not go that far.

Comment: I read Mason K.’s comment and I totally disagree. Not being rude or anything but she has no proof at all. And she didn’t even tell us any proof or reasons why she thinks that in poor neighborhoods there is alot of gangs. Thats really REALLY mean. Not just in poor neighborhoods. Also where rich people live. She shouldn’t think just because people are poor that they have to get in gangs.

Cyberbullying could happen 24-7. kids that are 17 or under should not focus or have a account on social media. The person being cyberbullied could also be bullied at school. the person being cyberbullied could do drugs or does not want to go to school anymore and stay out of anyones sight

Cyber Bullying hurts the victims feelings and make them feel like they're not worth it. Cyberbullying can happen from all over the world commit suicide. Comment:I have seen cyber bullying before because of movies and videos about it.Some kids think about going suicide because of cyber bullying.One of the movies I watched is called cyber bullying. It is about a girl in highschool and she gets a laptop on her birthday and makes a account on this website and everyone are calling her name.
